At the KWF Conclave 2026, organized by the Kidney Warriors Foundation to commemorate 50 years of kidney care in India, Simran had the honor of representing Dr. Sunil Shroff, who was conferred the “Contribution to Kidney Care” award in recognition of his longstanding efforts in advancing kidney transplantation and organ donation in the country. The award ceremony, held at The Park Hotel, brought together leaders and professionals working in nephrology and transplant care. On behalf of Dr. Shroff, Ms. Simran Anand, Sr. Programme Officer at MF NCR, received the award on stage during the conclave, marking a proud moment of acknowledgment for his work and the broader mission of promoting organ donation and kidney care. The certificate presented during the event highlighted the collaboration between the Kidney Warriors Foundation and the Indian Society of Nephrology, recognizing Dr. Shroff’s significant contribution to strengthening kidney care in India.

Invited On October 9, 2020, as a ‘Karamveer’ with actor Riteish Deshmukh as the champion of the cause of Organ Donation on the popular on Sony Liv show ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ (KBC) hosted by the biggest celebrity of Bollywood, Mr. Amitabh Bachchan. This was a special Karamveer show on the eve of Mr. Bachchan’s birthday. The 25-lakh prize money was donated to MOHAN Foundation.
