JNIMS conducts kidney transplant, elates CM
Imphal, June 26 2022: Jawaharlal Nehru Institute of Medical Sciences (JNIMS) has created history in the held of kidney transplant by becoming the first government run health facility in the state and the second in the northeast to conduct kidney transplant successfully.
Meanwhile, chief minister N Biren has announced a cash reward of Rs 5 lakh to the team of doctors, nurses and other staff of JNIMS, who were involved in the successful conduct of kidney transplant surgeries.
He made the announcement while briefing the media at JNIMS on Sunday after personally meeting the patients.
